An evenly contested match that could have gone either way.  With one minute to go, Lucy Bilby scored from a well-directed cross from Rebecca Midgley.

The final score was not a true indication of the game.  Avon allowed Selwyn too much room and was soon 3 nil down.  Avon replied with an excellent amy Walcott goal.  Missed opportunities and not enough running off the ball resulted ina a 5 - 1 loss.  Perhaps 8am games are not a favourite time for the team.
